Free Ride
We were told, there is no such thing as a free ride. We thought we could purchase a ride. We thought we could do someone a favor and ride with them. Then we realized, there are no rides.
We have to walk.
We can choose our path and buy comfortable shoes; We can invite positive and supportive people to accompany our travels; We can map the safest and fastest route; We can rest and take in the beauty of the sunset; We can smile, laugh, complain and cry along the way; But we cannot escape the journey. We must take each and every step to our destination.
